All for a song

A few days back one of my friend called me and gave me few lines. A track was ready but she needed lyrics for the tune so that it could be transformed into a song that she could sing.

The lines were:

A twirl around,
I felt you in the air.
Surrounding everywhere,
Are you around baby.

I wish this time never should have come
And now it has come,
you're not here anymore to hold me around...

Ironically, the above lines transformed into the poem jotted below, but it does not fit into the track anymore. We are still in search for a tune to go with it (a few adjustments to the poem is negotiable). If you hear or see an absconding tune anywhere, kindly let us know by commenting here on the post.

I turn around, to a whisper
that sounds like you're near me.
You surround me, Oh! baby!
can you hear me?

I wish you were here to
hold me tight, make everything right.
Kiss away my sorrows and pain,
embrace me and call out my name.

It feels like just yesterday, a life we planned,
twirled fingers and held hand.
But today seems distant and grey,
you have gone far far away.

I toss and turn, touch your side of the bed.
Puts me to sleep, as I remember,
all the good times we had.
Something warm touches my cheek,
with teary eyes I see you depart,
only to realise these are the whispers of my heart!!!
